My peace is tied with a thread

A book that holds eight stories of women during wartime.

The war caught me unprepared. Everyone says that, and it seems there are no real tools for coping with the ongoing tragedies we’ve been living through since October 7. Very quickly, a new language entered the public discourse—words like tactical, strategic, and collateral damage. Searching for my own words, words rooted in my native language, I listened to eight women share their experiences from these past months of war. They spoke about love, anger, pain, and resilience—voices that are often overlooked in times like this. Their courageous stories revealed a reality far more complex and profound than the one we are used to hearing. Their words are the ones you will find in this book.
